Circuit Breakers

There are many types of circuit breakers such as low voltage circuit breakers, magnetic circuit breaker, thermal magnetic circuit breaker, common trip breakers, medium-voltage circuit breakers, high-voltage circuit breakers and sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) high-voltage circuit-breakers including other types of circuit breakers as well. The other types of circuit breakers are residual-current device (also called residual current circuit breaker), residual current breaker, ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) breakers, earth leakage circuit breaker (ELCB), auto-re-closer and poly-switch etc. There is also a circuit breaker panel which is also known by other names such as breaker panel, circuit breaker, panel, consumer unit, CU, electrical panel, fuse-box, fuse-board, load centre, panel-board, power breaker, service panel and DB board etc. AC power plugs and sockets are available in various types such as Type A, Type B, Type C, Type D, Type E, Type F, Type E/F (hybrid), Type G, Type H, Type I, Type J, Type K, Type L, and Type M etc. Outdated types of AC power plugs and sockets include American "Type I", combination duplex outlet, Dorman & Smith (D&S), Lampholder plug, NEMA 1-15 5-receptacle Type A outlet, old Greek sockets, old Spanish sockets, perpendicular outlet, split current/voltage ratings, U.K. Wylex plug and UK electric clock connector etc.
